A Note About Fonts
Along with graphics, I use a variety of interesting, but readable, fonts in the items I hand out to my students. However, when you download some of my files, the fonts may not show up, or they may show up as strange characters. This is because you do not have that particular font installed on your computer. You can change the font to something that you like, or you can download the file below that contains some of my favorite fonts that I use regularly. The fonts are in a zipped file which will need to be opened with a program such as WinZip.

My Favorite Fonts

All of the fonts in the file above are freeware fonts, easily obtained through a Google search.

If you are unsure about how to install fonts,
Desktop Publishing has a very simple method for you to follow.

Once you become comfortable with installing them, you may want to look around at more! It can be addicting! Here are some of my favorite sites:

A1 Fonts
1001 Fonts
Famous Fonts
Fonts for Kids
Font Files
Font Garden
Font Paradise
Golden Web Fonts

Now...if you get REALLY crazy about fonts, you might want to try a font manager program like Sue Fisher's
"The Font Thing" to help you view, manage, and easily install or uninstall your fonts.

Have Fun!
